My name is Vince and I am the owner and head trainer here. I pride my CrossFit box with a solid training program backed by solid data and continued through a competitive environment and community involvement. Our focus is on improving work capacity by learning CrossFit methods, training and practicing technique, and recording solid data to keep record of your current abilities. We have a 4000 Sq Ft facility that focuses on every aspect to help improve your work capacity to guarantee fast immediate results.
I started CrossFitting while on deployment with the 82nd Airborne Division in 2008. I was instantly hooked and wanted to learn more. On our last parachute jump before returning to Iraq in 2009, I suffered a traumatic brain injury leaving me with a limited ability to keep new memories as well as other things like balance and stress. CrossFit helped me strengthen my core to assist with my balance problems and training others allowed me to focus on one of my abilities instead of all the new things that I wasn’t able to do anymore.
After leaving the Army I wanted to continue training CrossFit and training others the correct way. I felt that I understood what the foundations of CrossFit was, “Increasing work capacity.” I wanted to teach others how to accomplish this. LETS was born. LETS stands for
Learning to Exceed The Standard.
LETS CrossFit became big because of simple understanding of a need to “Exceed.” The foundation of everything makes us do something other than sit on the couch is rooted in a need to exceed. CrossFit methods will help you get better at all tasks, but first you need to learn many things like body mechanics, nutrition, and data.
