Jill Miller Diaphragm Evolution Part 3: Eccentric Loading
Today’s mission wraps up the Jill Miller breathing mechanics cycle. Mastress Miller is a badass to say the least and she was adamant about showing these last three days of info to the Mwod family because of the crap ton of dysfunction she was seeing in our athletic population. I agree, nearly everyone I see with low back or thoracic problems also has really bad diaphragm mechanics. Oh I know you can breath, but you are inefficient and breath like crap. Your diaphragm is a muscle just like any other (skirt steak fyi…actually good to know if you crash in the andes and have to eat your grass fed friends to stay alive) and gets stiff, especially when it doesn’t work well (know someone with back pain or asthma?)
ps. I’m terribly sunburned. I don’t have niacin flush or high blood pressure. No, I’m not hell boy.
