Jill Miller and Your Dys-Supple Neck

Hey Mwodies,

Today’s mission is one of the missing pieces to our latest MWod neck/overhead obsession. We are pleased to have our Yogi/Mechanic uber-friend Jill Miller ( back on  with her sneaky myo-fascial ways.  Being a modern human means that you are going to have to spend some time with your head and shoulders in a less than ideal position.  Subsequently, we see the musculature of the neck get tight in response.  Imagine, your head weights about 10-11 lbs.  If you hold that veritable planetoid of a head (like an orange on a toothpick) in front of your center of mass, your body is going to have to make some of your neck structures tight in response to your poor posture and mechanics.  Fix your head.  This mob works.
